Randonner à Amari sans guide, à pied ou à vélo
Wild Nature offers you a unique opportunity to explore the area around Meronas on your own, following marked trails and rural roads.
With a total length of 62 kilometers, we suggest twelve wonderful routes with significant ecological and cultural value that have been plotted using GPS and displayed on Google maps.
Additionally, we have properly marked all the trails and dirt roads that make up the routes, and we have prepared the corresponding road books and suitable maps for your convenience.
Suitable for ages 10 and up (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).
Hiking and Biking options
You have two options for hiking or biking routes: six across the mountains and six through rural areas.
Each route is represented by two Latin characters (Mc, Rd, etc.). The capital letter “M” is used for mountain routes, whereas the capital letter “R” is used for lowland and rural routes. The lowercase letters correspond to the numbering of the routes.
Accès aux road books et cartes
Road books and route maps are available free of charge, exclusively to the residents of the campsite. All routes can be accessed digitally through the Wild Nature website.
The number of routes you can download for free depends on the duration of your stay at the campsite. You are entitled to one free route for each day of your stay.
To get access to the routes, choose an option that best suits your abilities from the list displayed on the relevant pages “A | Mountan Routes” or “B | Rural Routes”, and then ask for the password at the camp reception desk.
Using a Bicycle. Please be advised that you need your own bicycle in order to ride the routes. For bicycle rentals, get in touch with Agia Fotini-based Amari Bikes (https://amaribikes.gr/ | Phone: +30 6978151311).
